Shadi Usefi-Moridani is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner here at Eldorado Medical Center. Her passion is serving children and families that come into the medical clinic. She is an American Board certified pediatrician and she is devoted to improving the health of all children by practicing evidenced-based medicine while collaborating with families to promote health and wellness.
Shadi graduated with her Master’s degree in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2005 from the University of Buffalo at New York and Board certified since then. She gained knowledge and expertise in caring for children and their families by completing her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner residency at Buffalo Women and Children Hospital, University at Buffalo West Children Clinic, Pediatric Gastroenterology in Summerlin Town Center Medical Center, and in Eldorado Medical Center. Her educational experiences have given her the knowledge and skill to provide wellness care as well as the ability to manage pediatric medical emergencies and sick visit.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Shadi earned her BS in Nursing in Iran/Tehran in 1997 and worked as RN for several years. Shadi continues to serve as mentor for nursing students. She is passionate about educating and empowering families and their children.
